Bring home some rustic charm with the Weed & Papier-mâché Shadow Box Wall Décor. Our in-house craftsmen combined dry weed and handmade Papier-mâché in this wall art. The process of making the Papier-mâché center is extremely time consuming and requires true technic. It started with the selection of tree barks. The size, kind, color, all matters. Then we bathe them inside spring water and boil for 48 hours. After that, rinse it under running water to clear out all the impurities before the bleaching process starts. Finally, after drying, we start to shape all the “papers” to create a variety of designs. With hours of sun drying to get rid of all the moisture, we then smoke it using natural wood to add color and aging effect.
The centerpiece was sealed inside a high quality pine wood shadow box with linen backdrop. Similar design also comes in as weed & sea shells as centerpiece, which complement each other beautifully. Hang them together to form an impressive gallery wall. Double D-rings are equipped so you can hang them anywhere, together or separately.
Unlike anything mass-produced, this wall décor was handmade using premium material. Every single one are unique and irreplaceable. Thus, actual product may look different from the website pictures.
